In an emergency, quick access to help can make all the difference. OnStar Emergency Services are here when you need them most.
Emergencies can happen anytime, and they’re often overwhelming. That’s why OnStar Emergency Services are designed to give you calm, reliable support when you need it most.
With just a push of the red SOS button or a call through the Guardian app, you’ll be connected to an Emergency-Certified Advisor who knows exactly how to get you help.
Whether it’s a crash, a medical issue, or even stopping to help someone else on the road, OnStar is there to make sure you’re never facing it alone.
How It Works
You can access Emergency Services in two ways:
- Press the red SOS button in your vehicle or in the OnStar Guardian app.
- Call OnStar directly to speak with an Advisor.
Once connected, a trained Advisor can:
- Contact emergency personnel for your situation.
- Notify family members if you choose.
- Provide support if you’re assisting someone else on the road through the Good Citizen feature.
Plan Requirements
Emergency Services are available with Protect or Protect & Connect Bundle plans. A working electrical system, cell reception, and GPS signal are required.
Tips to Remember
- Advisors are trained for special situations.
- Even if you don’t know where you are, your Advisor will.
- The Good Citizen feature allows you to request help for others, not just yourself.
