Keep your OnStar services running smoothly by making sure your payment details are always up to date.

Paying for your OnStar® plan should be simple—and it is. With your GM Account, you can use a credit card to manage payments for everything for OnStar services.

 

One thing to keep in mind: updates made in one place won’t automatically carry over everywhere. To stay connected without interruption, be sure to update your payment details across all GM sites where you make purchases.

Updating Your OnStar Account Payment Method

  1. Go to your Owner Center (brand website).
  2. Sign in to My Account.
  3. Open Settings > Payment Method.
  4. From here, you can:
    • Add a Payment Method: Choose credit card, enter your details, and select Save.
    • Edit a Payment Method: Update card details and save changes.
    • Delete a Payment Method: Confirm removal to stop using it for future charges.

 

Once updated, your new payment method will appear and will be used for all recurring subscriptions.

Tips to Remember

  • Keep payment information current to avoid interruptions to your services.
  • Payment updates on one GM platform (e.g., Owner Center) won’t carry over to others.
  • Always confirm you’ve received a success message when adding or changing details.
  • Remember to update your card before its expiry to enjoy uninterrupted services.
